i walked BY the cake shop. looked around for dan but no one was there (it was really early). then i had dinner and hit lit lounge for dysrhythmia and behold. both awesome! and behold had a lot of REALLY rowdy/excited fans there.

sot (slightly off topic...): are you guys the kind of new yorkers that hate to leave their neighborhood? thurs. i went down for a job interview and to see alabama thunderpussy. interview in manhattan, show in brooklyn... communicated with some of my brooklyn & queens online friends about meeting at the show and got some of that "man, thats like totally out of the way..." but man, its like totally out of the way for me too, and i didnt have my car with me... or they're like 'man, that club is totally not near the subway...' OK, my friend and i went - five minute walk from subway. and its not just that people dont want to hang out with me. like i told people where i'm going and i see their eyes bug out - 'wow, you must love that band...' - like leaving williamsburg is not ok for white people? well, what do i know. im some asshole from central connecticut.

I leave my neighborhood all the time.

The show was fun, we managed to salvage what could have sucked since MOTA and Dissasociate canceled. It was a good time.

We also played the next night in williamsburg with Bloody Panda again. It was at a place called the Lucky Cat Lounge and I immediately fell in love with it because as soon as I walked in I noticed Swans were being played on the stereo.

I hope we get a happy crowd reception some day rather then some random claps and a few people saying "who?"
