Does anyone know if this can be fixed, its a dean phantom ML and it fell heavily on it's back and because of the backward facing headstock a huge v shaped crack has appeared on the back of the neck near the headstock.
It's not quite ready to snap but another heavy hit and i'm sure it's a lost cause. It's a through neck, would i be right in saying i cannot replace the neck??? HELP

Hmmm...always when this happens there are some guys who make guitars and they are able to fix it then, do you know anyone around?

AND WHERE ARE YOU IN MOMD????

There's a guitar store in Glasgow that does repairs but it's really expensive, i may have to try fixing it myself...

On the MOMD thing on Scott's segment (Glasgow Garage) i'm the guy in the crowd near the bottom left of the screen with the spikey hair and anorexic arms and jumping out of time with everyone else! i will sign autograph's later...

Good luck with your guitar it sucks I cannot help you.
I´m about to check it NOW :)

Hey Jockthrax.
I know a guy in Ayr who builds guitars and has repaired quite a few.
He's been making his own guitars for 15 years.
I'm sure he could help. I've known him replace parts of necks too.

You could go and make your own there if you wanted to. I have.
What do you reckon?
