Hey, Stormwatch, I just saw the news posted in www.bravewords.com - the U.S. release date for "Death On The Road" has been postponed due to technical difficulties.

Lucky bastard... I was waiting to get those from Netflix.

Technical difficulties? What's that all about?
I just watched the fan interviews today - what a waste of time. Every time I see fan interviews on metal videos/dvds I just cringe. People doing the goat horns and shouting "MAIDEN" while staring into the camera. How embarrassing (although I'd probably do it myself if I was there).

I got my copy of DotR and Rising In The East from the local supermarket, which just goes to show old school metal is BACK!

The Opeth DVD was the worst. During the "mellow" (read: "boring") set, all these dicks shouting "Opeth" in crappy death metal voices. No wonder my wife gives me funny looks and calls me a weirdo when she sees me watching these things.

The picture is a sig made up for me on the Rangers forum as I'm a big fan of Glasgow Rangers and AC/DC.

There was an interesting theory in the book "lords of chaos" about fundemental differences between European and American metal fans. That DVD made me consider that, for the most part, they may have been right.
