Their old forum here at UM has been reopened after like 8 year in hibernation.
So fun to look up old flamewars, that place was worse than it is here, elitism deluxe and I was in the line of fire a few times. :)

You have the most random taste in music.

I picked Blind Thorns at random from your list, I don't know what the hell I just watched but it was basically a bunch of noise over a highschool music video.

And do you listen to it as background noise or is this something you actively listen to and focus on? I'm legitimately curious

Nope it has been a great year!

Triptykon
Vader
Behemoth
Cannibal Corpse
Belphegor
Accept

And still to come are new albums by Bloodbath, Exodus, Sanctuary, 1349 and Ac/Dc!!!!! :headbang:

Of course you would put EQ in bold

Didn't know there was coming a 1349 album though, awesome! Also, isn't one guy from AC/DC in the hospital for dementia?

So yeah half the year has passed and it's been a pretty fucking epic year so far and it looks like it will continue to be as there are a shitload of new albums to look forward to in 2015.

I always think that I'm a massive music nerd but then I come on here... I think The Way of All Flesh (which isn't exactly new) is the only album I've bought all year long :erk:

So far:

1. ARCTURUS - Arcturian

Other interesting albums:
PARADISE LOST - The Plague Within (pretty good, but I'm not overwhelmed yet)
KEEP OF KALESSIN - Epistemology
TRIBULATION - The Children of the Night

I hope for some more true killers, so far there's not too much to cheer about.

I checked out a lot of the bands posted but they are mostly death/black metal. I'm more focused on doom these days, the new Electric Wizard was good but I dunno I think they went over the top with the in a long hallway production sound.

Really looking forward to new Swallow the Sun, but I've been out of touch with new music lately don't really know where to look.

You and pretty much everyone else on this forum :)
