Some updates that I thought I'd make the announcements here..

Derrick Ramirez (Dragonlord, ex-Testament) will begin recording the bass tracks for Obliterhate during the month of January 2008. The bass recording will be done at Trident Studios (Exodus, Sadus, Testament, Skinlab, etc) with Juan Urteaga. It will be really interesting to see what Derrick will come up with!

I have also just gotten an endorsement deal with Monson Guitars (USA), and Brent is in the process of designing a really beautiful guitar that I will called it 'Pulverised'. It would probably see the light of day in another couple of months, and I'm really looking forward to that. :)

Yesterday I heard Dan growl his way through a roughmix of a Obliterhate track.... It was fucken sick.
Dan the man still has his growls wether he says he has or not.

This album will most likely be the coolest thing released late this year or early next. Its like a mix of Death/Testament/Dying Fetus (but not) and then topped with the return of Dan´s growls.

I think most guys on this board will just blow their load to this haha.

NP: Obliterhate - Rejoice In Bloodshed (unmixed)

I knew Dan still had it listening to the Winds shit he did, but I am jealous of you now Rogga!

Btw, hurry up ;)

I can never get past the first song or two on the new Winds CD, not my cup of tea.

But which songs does Dan sing on? Frankly that was the only reason I bothered to check the CD out, but can never get to his "parts".

:heh::heh::heh:

OKAY, no music playing on a MYSPACE page-what gives? Don't tell me there's naked chicks waiting for me and not deliver the goods!!!!!!

The reason why I can't upload any songs on the Obliterhate Myspace page is because the bass and the vocals are not completed yet. :)

Dan finished up 3 songs on the vocals last night, and yes like what Rogga said, Dan is still amazing!

Calvin,

I figured as much, but this thread was the first mention I heard of this project so I was obviously frothing at the mouth when I read it. Kinda like if your neighbor left you a voice mail about some naked porn star at his house, then you find out that she's not coming over until tomorrow when you call him back. Somewhat of a letdown. PS. I'm NOT speaking from experience, my life isn't that exciting unfortunately.:cry::cry:

My only concern over what appears should be an orgasmic feast for the senses, is the old adage of "too many cooks spoil the soup" theory. Please feel free to destroy that theory though.

We need our little Swede to regain his brutal tendencies and put all his proggy-ness on the back burner.:lol::lol:

Hi Kevin,

If that is the case, I think we should stop making announcements anymore until we have something solid for people to hear

But yeah, I totally understand how you feel and I apologise that I really can't release any previews of the songs, not at least the final mix is done. I can't put up the songs that does not represent the way I wanted the songs to sound like, if you know what I mean.

I hear ya, no worries. :)

And if I may ask, how in the world did you put this whole thing together? Not that I'm the authority on everything in the metal world, but I have not heard of you prior to this thread and reading the history of how you put it together almost sounds like you were able to pick people from all over the world to come together for this. Do you have a prior history with any of these people?

And it's safe to assume that everything is being done via mail? Each performer does their part, sends it your way and then you piece it together?

The bass parts is probably going to be finally recorded this month and still some unexpected surprises, but I'm sorry that I can't announce it until this is final.

The trade-off solo with Dan is already done, and still a couple of more solos to be done on my side and we're done!
