Never been to the Hook, but I just don't like having to go to Brooklyn for shows.

Is Old Bridge still around? I haven't been out east in AGES, but I remember a phantastically good show consisting of an then unknown Lamb of God, The Haunted, Dimmu Borgir, and Cannibal Corpse. Now, that was a tasty metal burger!

Old Bridge is in Jersey, not sure if they still have shows there.

L'amours? I remember that place. I think that's where I saw King Diamond with Entombed and the tour of Hypocrisy/Bodom/Nevermore/Dimmu. That venue really liked to stuff the people in there like sardines.
BB King's is one of my favorites now. Not just because it's like a 10 minute walk from me.

i caught that one at Slims and it was awesome. dummy burger's bus broke down in LA though so they didnt make it
