October Tide RWE remaster?

I remember reading a while back that Dan was remastering October Tide's Rain Without End, any updates?

It's being released on November 10th, according to the Vic Records website. The new Paganizer and Another Life albums are also supposed to come out that same day, apparently. About fucking time!!!

I wonder what's up with the new Infestdead and Odyssey remasters....

I wonder if this remaster will sound as good as the original? The original had quite a unique sound. What's everyone's opinion of remasters? Do you normally go back to the original or stick with the remaster for listening?

It's sort of a crapshoot for me.

Sometimes they sound better.

Sometimes the difference is negligible.

Sometimes they make it sound worse (and just louder).

I trust Dan though, especially if he gets a hold of the original tracks to remix as well!
