It's so beautiful! Thanks for posting these so far! I hope to someday go back to Germany and take a trip down the Rhine River and see all the castles along the way. So beautiful!

Won a week in Germany from one of our suppliers at work. Will be flying into Hamburg on Sunday morning, off to Wolfsburg on Tuesday and then Berlin for the rest of the week. Will be visiting the supplier's factory, the VW car factory and we also get to do an off-road course in a VW Touareg. (I sell auto parts for foreign cars)

Be back on March 31st. Keep signing up in the book ordering thread and that will be handled when I get back.

I'll drink a few German beers for you all.

Did the VW factory tour and off road track today..don't have much battery power left on my laptop though, so the rest of the pics I'll post when I get home.

Just arrived in Berlin via train from Wolfsburg. I'm gonna go take a stroll around the block before we head off to dinner.

We have a bus tour and free time tommorrow.

Having a great time so far...the German people are very friendly and helpful.

Oh not hiding anything - just showing another branch of the family tree....

The Asian part of me is usually more apparent to people but I have another (European) side! I think that's one of the reasons I like a nice cold beer after the show.....

Very good! Didn't have one the whole week that I didn't like.

I'll add some more pics tomorrow night when I have some free time. Going to the Angels home opener tonight.

Flew into Hamburg on Sunday morning. We did lunch and then a tour of the harbor:

On Monday, we did some walking around Hamburg and some shopping:

On Tuesday, we visited the warehouse of the company that paid for our trip:

From there, we took the autobahn down to Wolfsburg:

The next morning, we went to the VW factory & museum in Wolfsburg:

Took the train to Berlin after the VW factory:

Thursday morning, we did a bus tour of Berlin and saw the last piece of The Wall:

and other Berlin sights and had lunch on top of the Reichstag:

On Friday, we did some shopping and more running around Berlin.

Went to Checkpoint Charlie & it's museum:

Flew home on Saturday morning. Arrived back @ LAX around 7 pm. Was a long day on the planes. Had a great time while we were there. Would definitely like to go back again sometime.

That is a salesman from our L.A. office. (Went with two co-workers and their wives) During the week, some people called him Father Christmas and some others pointed at the beard and said, "ZZ Top!"

I remember being told that the numbers and letters on the license plates on the cars tell everything about the driver like the city and area they live and etc. Hmm.
