SPECIAL OFFER: 25 Eur (or 33$) per song (!!!) if your band has at least 1000 "Likes" at its Facebook page and 2000 listeners at Last.fm.

I realize that it's very low and even ridiculous price, but don't have any doubt - you'll get really awesome result like these examples at my studio page: http://www.facebook.com/anthropocidestudio
Moreover, first 30 seconds I can process and show before we'll make any financial transactions, so you'll get a confidence that I am a reliable guy :)

Don't be late, it's only temporary offer! When I'll get 3-5 bands, my rates will rise up to 3x or even higher.

Dude, with such a killer résumé, you really should charge more, like A LOT more. Hell, I have virtually no résumé and I already charge triple of that "sale" of yours, and I'm still lowballing cause I'm barely getting started, it'll go up after a couple more projects.

You're giving little to no worth to your own time, and devaluing the whole market which sucks for the guys who are actually struggling to make a living out of it, you're pretty much subsidizing bands with that price, your power bill, hell the air you breathe for one hour costs more than the hourly rate you're earning with that price.

thanks for doing your part in destroying our business
How can I destroy your business if I currently can't get any job in Europe/USA even with these ridiculous rates?

In Russia and Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Belarus) I am quite famous metal/hardcore producer and for all local bands I charge 150-400$ per each song and always require 100% prepayment. But in Europe and USA nobody knows me... So now I'm just forced to start from zero regardless of my portfolio, good skills and experience. Maybe you don't know, but I can say that it's almost impossible to get well-paid mixing job if you are from country such as Russia. If you want to help me, could you tell your friends about me and recommend them to hire me, please? I would be very grateful :)

Your stuff sounds good, so the reason you're not getting any work is simply because the business is flooded by people like you who work for peanuts. When you lower yourself to that same level, you're efficiently taking a dump on the next guy who's in the EU/USA market trying to get his bills paid. That would be around 90% of the pros/semi pros of this forum, so do you really think it's a wonder you got such a cold welcome? This is a mistake often done by people who are just starting out and think it's a good move business-wise, not by seasoned pros with a decent resume.

If you make it clear that your time is worth approximately three euros per hour (which is less than what the 14-year-old kids get for delivering ads to houses once a week), the potential clients will assume the same from the rest of us. And quite frankly, even though I'm ready to give good discounts if the situation calls for it, I'd rather burn my setup down to the ground than work for that low.

So yes, you are destroying the business, and since you're a "quite famous metal/hardcore producer", you're doing it a lot more efficiently than someone just starting out and looking to build a portfolio.

try delivering great work in your area for rates you can make a living of.
people will come to you, when your delivering excellent work. if you want to survive in this business, dont
give yourself away for free. thats suicide.

Please notice that "33$ per song" is temporary and strictly limited offer (only for 3-5 bands which have more than 1000 "Likes" and 2000 listeners). For others I charge 100$/song minimum. Not to mention, I will NOT work for free anyway. :) And when I'll get first 3-5 bands from EU/USA, this offer will be cancelled. When I'll get next 3-5 bands, I'll raise my prices higher and so on.

You can't blame me for dumping since I am currently not a well-known professional like most of you. Sorry, but I need to repeat it again: in EU/USA nobody knows me. Therefore, I must earn good reputation from zero. Why don't you go to another threads with "free mixing offer" names to blame its starters? :)

The reputation you'll earn with this method is

"that's one cheap motherfucker"
not
"the dude does awesome work and puts some value on it"

Why don't you go to another threads with "free mixing offer" names to blame its starters? :)

Cause usually you'll get what you pay for in these kind of offers, and also usually there are strings attached like no re-visions, guy not giving a fuck if clients doesnt like the snare ect...
Totally different situation then offering a real service (most of the time at least)
Usually those threads also get answers like "if you want to practice mixing and you're just give mixing away for free then take advantage of the countless stems that float around for free"

You know what they say, "there's no such thing as bad publicity", so all of you just helped popularize his work :)

I think it's OK to "invest" in a chance to work with well-known bands. The trouble is that usually these bands are the ones that can spend more money anyway and are looking for popular producers instead. In order words it is a good idea to rethink your strategy, however you look at it.
