I know there are a few Jorn Lande fans on UMOS, so I thought I'd better make a public service announcement. Jorn's official site is finally online.

I don't think much of the site personally. There's not much to it, content wise, and it comes across as a bit self-indulging. No big surprise that Mr. Lande has an ego though, he's flaunted it in the past. :)

For his dedicated fans, enjoy the new site. They even have a private forum where you have to sign up just to view it. Did I say self-indulgent?

cool, thanks for that. I've been waiting for his site to become 'active' for some time.

Just picked up "The Duke" last week, but have yet to listen as "OP: Mindrcime II" and the Free (Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke, Andy Fraser, Paul Kossof):headbang: remasters have been dominating my time.

At last! Thanks for the info Ryan ;)

That's cool. He isn't one of my absolute faves, but I dig his newest release especially since Jorn Viggo is playing guitar for him as I am a BIG fan of his. Egos sometimes bother me and sometimes don't...... depending on how the person works it. Malmsteen is about the biggest prick in the music industry period, but he is flat out hilarious when he goes off on another musician. He said, about Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater when evaluating some samples in a record review for a mag; the drummer needs to take a valium." This was "Images and Words" he was referring to which is a masterpiece in my ears but I still found it funny as hell. I still think he is a prick, but he is a prick with a sense of humour, though be it a little skewed.
