"We are having van difficulties because our mechanic ordered the wrong part to replace our emergency brake and we cannot pass inspection without it. We are at a different mechanic who may be able to fix the brake right away; if he can't, we'll take the Rejected sticker (because we have 60 days before we get penalties) and just take off and worry about parking in San Francisco when we get there.
"There is a POSSIBILITY we will have to cancel our Pittsburgh appearance, but we still hope to drive really fast and make it, so do NOT consider it cancelled until an update is posted announcing it as such. We will be updating later on once we know what the case is."
