ohio is one of those "pay for the entire turnpike when you leave" states, isn't it? like $10 or so? they're talking about doing that here across I-70 i think, and it'd be like $20. i'm thinking people would specifically drive around the state to avoid that, even with the extra gas and time.

PA is the pay turnpike...I-70 in OH is FREE.

although I can't vouch for I-80.

I-80 is is free in Iowa... and i think most of IL.

i thought i recalled paying in more than one state when driving from chicago to pittsburgh once. maybe the way we took was not i-70 though. still, i think people will stay away from missouri if this happens.

her ein PA we have two turnpikes. one they call an "expressway" though. I-70 is not the turnpike though.... 70 is free, on my end anyway
