Ovechkin is what I could call a cherrypicker. He scores all his goals by standing in front of the net and putting in rebounds. He's also a little bit dirty.
He's great, don't get me wrong....but the media hype is just a little much.

Yeah, the media definitely heralds him as the second coming of Messier or some shit. He is a beast though.

You know who's name your gonna start hearing a lot of in coming years? Brad Marchand mothafucka. Scrappy lil fucker who always seems to be around the puck or making some kind of great play.

I've heard defensive styles were a little different back then though....as in they didn't really exist.
Not taking anything away from the Great One but there's no way he could accomplish that if he was coming into the league in say, 2010

I've lost most of my hope in the flyers after that last game BUT, I really hope they can just pull off one win tonight... no need for a repeat of last year, just win tonight so then we have a game 5 sunday afternoon that I can use an excuse for avoiding mothers day.
