are you serious? AA is imo one of the best live bands ever
There are better live bands with more stage activity. They are ok/good but nothing to call home about IMO. Don't get me wrong...i love that band but i still can't name them OMG GREAT LIVE ACT.
I think AA is good one single time. After that, they bore you to death. Maybe it's because they play at every socket they can find...
I agree with this.

Meh, AA is great on album and somewhat okay live but it wasn't that interesting live band.
WAT? Are you fucked  They are epic live, and they have the best crowds, and make the best shows, really.

I thought this before I saw them on the October 15th. After the first two times I saw them I felt meh about their shows but after the last one I remember how fucking awesome they are. Really I've only been to a few shows with crowds like that, crazy but not in a stupid way. I had a lot of fun. I've seen them like 5 times now.

I don't know where or when you saw them but clearly you must have seen an off show because everyone would disagree with what you're saying if they've seen a proper AA show.

Yeah, keep in mind that i actually like Amon Amarth. I saw them at Tuska 2008. They were simply Okay for me. Sure i did get really happy when they played Black Birds but otherwise it wasn't a special show. Could well be because AA was the FIRST band of the ENTIRE WEEKEND that it was a bit "meh and slow". People hadn't probably got into the mood yet.

Oh yeah I wasn't saying I don't like Arctic Monkeys, I was just lolling at the idea of them being at Wacken.

I agree with Jow and Knarfi (don't know his real name :p) AA are an amazing live band. Try catching them at a club show, I'm sure it'll be a completely different experience.
