So how is your team doing in the off season. Ty, ya happy about Garcia? As far as the Bengals go it sucks to be Kitna but you can't have the 6th highest paid player in the NFS sitting on the bench another year. It also sucks because now its like more rebuilding, rather than building on the success we had last year. Hopefully Kitna stays and Shane Mathews will not be our only back-up. THANK GOD we got rid of Artrell Hawkens, I can't believe he got picked up so fast.

For 99 million dollars he better go get that damn trophy...

I'm pretty happy so far. The Cowboys signed Marcellus Wiley, but the big news was the aquisition of Drew Henson. They may finally have an NFL caliber QB for the first time since Aikman retired.

my 49ers are done. no TO,Garcia,Hearst. you'll probally be hearing Rattay to Lloyd alot & Barlow getting stacked at the line since there passing game is no more

our football has been a joke, rugby league hasnt even got past round 1 and half a football team has been accused of gang rape, what a bunch of yobboes

The Cowboys have not gotten a Running Back. If they don't get a one, they may not make it back to the playoffs next season. I think Quincy did ok, but I really believe that if they had a solid back, Quincy would have been better.

Seahawks picked up Wistrom, that's awesome. They kept their offense intact, so that's good. They now just need to fill out the d a little bit more. Get Bobby Taylor to play opposite Trufant and will have a good 2ndary. Need a good mid linebacker so that Simmons and Brown can play their game. Now that they have an every down de, Brown can be more disruptive.

TO is gonna learn real real fast that the Eagles aren't the Niners and Andy Reid is a real coach who's not afraid of the owners.

Reid will sit his primadonna ass with no hesitation if his mouth keeps working before his brain. I sure hope he paid attention to the Keyshawn thing last year. He's not that damn good.

..and he'll never be the best while Marvin Harrison's playing

I just can't picture Terrell Owens in Philly. The fans aren't ultra-liberal like the one in San Fran. It's a recipe for disaster.

However, my team, Detroit Lions has improved some. Now we need a good running back.

This offseason has been phenomenal with big trades and big moves all around. I'll start with the Browns. i think Tim Couch got a poor deal here, but i think he may be successful if he goes somewhere with a decent line. Garcia is going to get killed unless we get some linemen. He'll only be able to last a few weeks before he gets knocked out for a while unless there are major line improvements. He's tough but he's not real big and strong.

I think Washington has made some good moves. I think their offense looks awesome. Brunell is a good functional Gibbs type of QB. Portis is a special talent regardless of what Shanahan thinks. (Average or slightly above RB's usually don't score 5 TD's in a game and carry their teams to win after win by themselves.) Brunell gets to throw to Rod Gardner, Coles, and possibly Kellen Winslow Jr. I think Terrell Owens is over-rated--he drops too many balls, but he will definitely help the Eagles. Their receivers suck gorrilla balls. He instantly improves that whole receiving corps. Denver is changing their whole philosophy and trying to go to being a defensive team which is not bad, but you still need some decent receivers and he will have to get a better RB.

Miami got Davis Boston who is talented and will help them out, but not a big Feidler fan.

I think the Cowboys are trying to win the World Series instead of the Super Bowl. I love them, even if they suck, but Jerry Jones is one stupid motherfucker. Why didn't he trade for a QB that has NFL experience like Tim Couch or Jon Kitna. Both of these guys would have been a 1000% better trade than Henson. The Cowboys now have 3 baseball players at QB! Also, the Cowboys need a RB. Why the hell blow money away on a baseball player (a shitty one at that), than on a a good RB? The Cowboys are my favorite team and will always be, but Jerry Jones better start spending his money more wisely or he won't see another Super Bowl Championship in his lifetime.

I was thinking along the same lines. Henson was good in college, but doesn't that seem like a long time ago now???
I'm mostly surprised at the size of the contract.
