^This. And honestly, while I by no means care for this, I don't hate it any more than a lot of other stuff I hear around here. You guys in your early-mid 20's crack me up when complaining about new music...because you sound like me when my favorite kind of music started dying off and being replaced. You're just getting old.

+1... actually we have pop bands that sound heavier of some "metal".
But why you have to do the same fucking song structure EVERY FUCKIN' TIME?!?!?!?! I think there are also the same notes, the same riffs....it's incredible how poor has become the song writing today.
Moreover...why you don't force yourself to sound different than the other 2bilion of bands that sound the same???

Aren't you one of the guys laying the praise on Betraying the Martyrs?
Yes, I've said I think the mixing for the Betraying the Martyrs CD was really well done. I assume you bring that up because you think of them in the same category as this band or other various shitty bands. But one of the members of Betraying the Martyrs is a member here and so is the mixer so I guess I feel like showing them and their work a bit of respect isn't too much to ask.

Cj is fucking great engineer. Fact remains that their music is in the same category as those other bands, and just because one of them is a member it doesn't mean we can't express our distaste for them.

I'm going to jump in to say you are wrong. if you want to generalize music genre's down to things like has 2 guitars, bass, keys, harsh vox, clean vox, drums. then yeah it ALL must be the same. Musically both these bands are really different. not extremely i.e black metal vs female pop radio. but the differences are there.
noteabley this is SHIT, Betraying the Martys is REALLY fucking good. just my generalization.
Yeah pretty much. I find myself looking for old thrash metal more these days. Punk kids are ruining everything.
