The Mars Volta is definitely my favorite album so far this year, get it if you like 70s prog and At the Drive-In. Flea's bass is awesome, as usual. Lots of long dub / psych parts with some good guitar by Omar of ATD-I. If you've heard ATD-I and didn't like Cedric's ranting / screaming vocals... he sings now in a pretty high pitched voice not that different from your Geddy Lee or that guy from Yes, so go into it expecting that.
