Ok so this new Nevermore song

Did the vocals seem a little unusual to anyone else? They sounded sorta processed or run through some kind of effects thingy (I clearly know nothing of voice recording). They just didn't blend well or something. Anyway, other than that the song was totally excelsior.
I suspect what you're hearing is simply due to the quality of the file. Not anything that actually exists in the mix.

I think the best part of the song is the bit at like 1:00 where the rhythm section kicks in. It's one of those involuntary headbang moments.
