Oh and sorry guys, I DID go to an Optometrist first, and after much deliberating (she ended up sending my packing.... and as I was outside quater of an hour later waiting for the bus to arrive, she called me at that last minute and decided to give me a referal to see a specailist after changing her mind).
But yeah, the specialist found some minor bleeding in my eye, and has had me get five days 'bedrest' over the weekend etc, as I'm most prone to causing further bleeding if I move around in the near future... which of course leads to permanent vision damage.
So I've been couped up at home for the last half a week to a week.... woe is me.
I kinda have to go back to work tomorrow, as while Wednesday is arguably the 'fifth day', I've run out of sick leave and at this stage I don't know if my 'squash membership/insurance fee will be back dated far enough to cover futher unpaid sick leave.
Considering I worked 9-10 hrs at double time last Sunday, that'll cover the Monday And Tuesday I've had of so far, making up to a normal pay period (more or less)... but that's about as far as it stretches.

good thing ya had it checked. ya went blind in that eye cuz ya didnt have it looked at it obviously would be somethin youd regreat the rest of yer life.
