Okay, guys...dream setlist time

I couldn't choose... just a whole concert, maybe break it into a day or two of the entire Opeth catalog...

I just wet my pants thinking of that.... And I'd get to meet Mike and the guys twice!

P.s. Peth, your sig is hilariously disgusting.

I really wish he would play patterns II and/or still day beneath the sun though. I've seen most songs live at this point and those songs are too damn good to ignore.

Does anyone feel me on the whole "everyone in Opeth needs a mic so they can learn to harmonize on parts like the middle of Master's Apprentices" thing? That would take Opeth a step above the Beatles and possibly God, if they're not there already.

Advent
Forest of October
When
In my time of need
Wreath
Harvest
Masters Apprentice
Baying of the Hounds
The Drapery Falls
Under the Weeping Moon
To Rid the Disease
The Leper Affinity
Beneath the Mire

Encore:
Deliverance
Godheads Lament

Works for me.

I'd go for an Opeth variety night:

push up competition between Mike and Per,

Guess the Riff game for 30 minutes ( special version),

extended lesson in Death Metal Vocals,

10 second drum solo courtesy of the one and only Axe,

lesson in sideways headbanging, courtesy of the legendary Bass Player,

guess the height of Peter,

the edited and shortened version The Grand Conjuration, with the video being acted out on stage with the girl, muscle man, snakes, etc.

storytelling, gay jokes and shadow puppets

Encore:

I hate Hip Hop, performed for the first time ever!

...And anyone who shouts for Black Rose Immortal is taken out by security.

A two hour show is enough for me. Some of those songs are not among my top favourites, but they work well live.

The Moor
When
A Fair Judgement
The Amen Corner
Blackwater Park
Patterns in the Ivy part 2
Windowpane
Benighted
Silhouette
Forest of October
Deliverance
Godhead's Lament

I don't like much about this post

morningrise, still life and deliverance in there entirety. Perhaps excluding the song Nectar as well as By the pain...

After many ales, i have decided...

The Moor
Deliverance
Night and Silent Water
Under The Weeping Moon
Rid the Disease
Closure
Bleak
Leper Affinity
GoP
Baying of the Hounds
Moonlapse Vertigo
April Ethereal (straight into) - When

Encore:
Demon of the Fall
Blackwater Park

2 hours approx, but would be more as they tune differently and Mikael tells jokes in between tracks...
