Personally, I guess I wouldn't care as long as they have some kind of head on their shoulders with some morals and common sense.

it would never happen. hypothetically, if i had a kid, it'd be listening to either classical music or metal. cuz i would make him/her take piano lessons from a very young age and start on another instrument of his/her choice and start classical training.

I probably wouldn't give a shit. I'm a fucking human being and I love what I love (guitar, heavy metal etc) and if a son/daughter of mine wanted to listen to music that satisfied them, then so be it.

Same here, Vikk... yes, my father was a musician, but more into rock and not into metal, so I got closer to this kind of music by myself...

And I'm glad I discovered it.

If I was a parent and my child would be emo and listen to all of it's shit, the first thing I'd do is establish my discord with his way of life and style. Then if he/she persists, i'd make the child pay me money untill he/she would smarten up. If rebellions ensues , I'd would just do the logical and reasonable thing... smash the kid in the head with bat in hopes that the blows would change his way of thinking to like metal.
