Old Engl Cabs - how are they?

So what do you guys know about the old Engl cabs with the cloth grilles, rear-mounted V30s (as opposed to the current front-mounted cabs), and the big white Engl logo? Are they well built, or are they MDF city like the Engl Standard cabs of today?

AHHH! Current Engl Standard cabs are not mdf, they are plywood, just not baltic birch ply. I heard that the older cabs are just as good as the current metal grill ones. In fact (although it may be BS) rumour had it that the older ones were actually better.

YEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH BABY!!! I wanted a Mesa Traditional, but fuck, this thing is practically the same spec-wise, and it's an Engl!! (not to mention the price, the guy quoted $65 shipping from Washington to where I am, which sounds retardedly cheap, but whatever! I'll take it!) *mega-boner*
