Since 1982/82, so long ago I can barely remember But since then on a regular basis. At Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Hammersmith Odeon London, and of Course Castle Donnington. How many ? I have no idea, I stopped counting long ago.
I have not seen the the band live since 1984-85, It was the Crusader tour, I believe. It was a place in Wisconsin (USA) called Zippo's ??? It has been so long I don't quite remember it too much. I would love to see the band now. Some day though allright!
I've seen a good few.
The first time was on the 10th Aniversary Tour at The Warehouse, Plymouth, U.K.
The last time was at the Coal Exchange, Cardiff, U.K. on the Metalhead tour......and yes they just keep on getting better.
I saw Saxon once in the early 80's in Seattle, Washington USA
Saxon has not been back to this part of the country since then and it really sucks!

My first SAXON-GIG was in Bremen at the Stadthalle on the 22.10.1985 with Pretty Maids supporting.
Then in 1993 on September the 26. in Aladin-Music-Hall with
Thunderhead.
Third was in 1999 on December the 5. in Aladin-Music-Hall with Freedom Call. This was really the best show I ever saw in my live!!!!
And finally of course last week in the Tivoli(Aladin)with
Murder One and Nutellica (Metallica Coverband).

Only once...at Harpo's in Detroit. They were touring in support of Unleash the Beast. Unfortunately, the crowd was small, but the band still gave 110%! Awesome show!
Once..it was on the "Unleash the Beast" Tour when they stopped at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, OH. There probably wasn't more than 50 people in the place, but I loved every second of the show. I would love to see them again.

At Wacken two years ago..A real shame, since I have been a fan since the early 80's..
since 1986 ive been to 19 saxon concerts in the uk and havent been disappointed once talked to members of the band
and had photos taken with em they are really nice people
they allways find a few minutes for you to chat with them
which counts a lot not like some bands who wouldent give you the of day i respect that cheers saxon rock on
First time was Leicester de montfort december 1980 i think (!) & a "few" times since then ;-)
Hey SaxonChicago ive got a cool video of them at Harpos from around '85. Harpos seems to be a good club thats stood the test of time. Is it still open?
