Aye aye,

this is one of my best sounds so far and I would reeeeeaaally appreciate if you help me to improve it.

I will not mention yet what I used so that you just rely on what you hear.

Great job, only thing that sounding little odd is crossfading at 0.40,guitars suddenly stop, but that is matter of taste and composing. What do you use for guitars recording?Which guitar, amp or sim. ,preamp mic etc.?

bass sounds awesome! stands out to me as a great sounding foundation for this mix..

Whole mix rocks man, great work.

MIDI drums are?

bass is?

Guitars are great as well..

Thanks!

Drums are SD2/Avatar with small amounts of samples for kick (despised icon) and snare (devil).
Bass is my Ibanez SR305. Three tracks, one clean with TSE BOD, one middy distorted with TSE BOD and one grit track with NoAmp.
Guitars are my Schecter Hellraiser C7 with this chain: TSE 808 -> TSE X50 -> LeCab2 with ASEM RECTO und 2off-preshigh und a Multiband-Compressor.

All recorded with my new Focusrite Saffire Pro 24.

Snare is way too fluffy for my taste. The snare is always the tell tale sign that the drums have been programmed. Get that sounding organic

If your going for the thrashy type of mix, then i suggest you bring down the drums a little bit. they are a bit too "in your face" for this type of mix (in my opinion). also, bring up the bass a little bit, you got room ;)

Did I actually say 'thanks' to all you guys on this board here? If not: Thanks! Since I'm reading on this board my mixing skills constantly got better (at least I think so :) ). So thank you very much for that!

Nice mix so far. Only thing that bother´s me is the toontrack room sound.
Just can´t stand it any more. Would try to remove some mids (400hz or so) and compressoin. Seems the whole thing is lacking some high´s too. And yeah, bass stick´s out to much. Bass tone is awesome though. What was your chain, esp. distortion. Love it!
