Gavin is definitely a terrific drummer. In fact, he's the only part of Porcupine Tree that doesn't bore me to tears! I would have liked to see him with King Crimson, but I don't know if they'll ever tour again.

As for Thomas Lang, I'm convinced that the man is a machine. I'm looking forward to hearing him performing with an actual band as opposed to his typical solo clinics.

I just recently saw a 19-year-old drummer from my neck of the woods named Hannah Ford. She currently plays in about five bands, the most notable among them being the jazz fusion group Pandorum. I've never seen a female drummer like her. I would highly reccommend checking out her videos with Pandorum on Youtube.
