only light beers I drink

TD, go to your local wine dealer and ask for a wine called LUCE. It's a blend of Robert Mondavi Merlot and Frescobaldi Sangiovese(which is the grape from which chianti is made from). You'd flip your shit if you tried this wine. Another one I recommend which is a step up is wine called Col Solare. It's also a blend. But this one is a blend of Columbia valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Antinori. Antinore is the king of italian wines

by the way, these wines aren't more than 50/60 bucks or so, but if your'e a bit budge wise, try Lucente which is the more modest version of Luce. Still a winner. Also, if you want bang for your buck and you're into Chiante try, Brunello di montelcino. I always order this wine on a hot date. It's the smoothest and more romantic(as in take off your clothes) wine.

they have def gotten better at injecting some tatse into light beers over the yearslol.

i drink hahn light or cascade.

anyone had a go at some aussie beers, although i highly doubt u people could get your hands on them, fosters is not a good representation of australian booze.

Light beers and american beers are not beers.
Drink coca, it's the same.
Beers to drink : Heineken, Carlsberg, Tuborg, Queue de charue, 8.6 and all belgium beers.
Europe leads the way to drink beers !

I agree w/ you that any Belgium beer is bad ass, but don't think that all American beers are bad. That is way misleading. Yes, the big three: Budmillcoors all blow, and there are some other nasty ones (Hamms, Pabst, Strohs) but America has some fine beers:
Sam Adams
Anchor Steam
Bells
Petes Wicked
Fat Tire
Leinenkugel
Blue Moon
Celis
These are all fine American Brews, I could list more, but you get my point. Don't write off a whole country of beermakers because of the big 3.

Its OK, I'm here now.Hmm...Are you guys on about lager?I don't drink lager, as I am a Bitter Man.(arf, arf.)
And being English you have probably never heard of the beers I like:
Lancaster Bomber
Thwaites smooth
Hobgoblin
Old speckled hen
and Boddingtons, of course.
Beer rules...and thats it!
