From 1. march home is this place:

Vardekasernefraluften09.jpg

It´s the base for the Danish Artillery, where I´m going back to spend about a year in an Artillery Radar section...

:headbang:

But for 4 years when I was in the reserve I had to do with the coolest weapon in the army, the Stinger missile! Once I was offered to come down and fire a Stinger, but I didn´t have the time because of exams at university

<--- The pic shows me with a (dummy) Stinger.

The coolest thing I've ever fired is M-203 granade launcher which was strapped to an M-16...

stingers are cool...

Yeah, it´s got a pretty good recoil as far as I remember. :) I tried it in the homeguard. Actually, when I tried it, it was strapped to the nearest you can get to an M-16, the Canadian licensed version of it, the C7A1 ( http://www.diemaco.com/c7-page.htm ) which is issued in the Danish army and home guard.

Edit: guns bla bla...

If it makes you feel better...I haven't shot anything besides cardboard targets and barrels. I was shot at though but that's another story

Me neither! And I sure as hell hope I´ll never have to shoot anybody!!!

I'm quite ok...most of the day I'm at home or in university so I'm quite safe(we got bars on all the windows) and most of the punks here don't even know who I am...I was asked a couple of years ago by some 16 year old for my money under knife threat...so I gave him my money...the whole 5 shekels I had in my wallet.
