2 was a good Queensryche album, but very meh when placed side by side with this.

Im seeing this tour at the end of the month. Operation Midncrime 2 is a good comeback for Queensryche as far as i concern since every cd after Promised Land was just awful.

The first one was an amazing album. I don't think it worked that well as a concept album though. It was more about the music.
Mindcrime 2 is one of the most disappointing albums I ever picked up.

You should. It's an excellent heavy metal album. People call it prog, but it definitely is not a prog album.

Haha, we were blasting that during our long drive home on sunday night.
We tried playing Operation: Mindcrime 2....but it just paled in comparison.
It simply lacked the zazz of the original

I can't say that Geoff has lost his touch (oh HELL NO...I almost creamed myself hearing him sing at Konocti), but his vocals were a little disapointing in the new album.

I saw this show a couple months ago. The first half was good except for Speak. Geoff had a really hard time hitting some of the notes, but the second half..... I actually slept through 4 or 5 songs. The only non-Mindcrime songs they played were Jet City Woman & Walk in the Shadows.
