i'm sure if he knew that the Nordland albums were to be his swansong(s?) he would have put all the more effort into demolishing us one last time!

the nordland ii lead-guitar sound on some of the solos is awesome, makes them stick in my mind for so long after hearing them. "Sea Wolf" is a funny song, with that synth thing that sounds like its from an old video game!

Same here, admitting it might be sacrilege, but so are the vast majority of inept Maiden covers.

Requiem and Octagon are so bad it hurts, but everything else by Bathory is fantastic. Most epic music music ever!

And I think Opeth did a good job.
