where the hell do people get this "most fans think Morningrise is Opeth's best album" crap, I've always wondered

basically, most fans think it's Still Life, and is how it has been for a long, long time... usually followed somewhat closely by MAYH, then BWP

Im pretty sure most fans(not me, just in general) think it's Blackwater Park. Regardless, that provided a good chuckle.

Actually, Morningrise is their best album. It's just that most fans from that era of the band don't post here anymore, so you'd never know.

The repeated use of 'hardcore' to describe various aspects of metal/Opeth=toal failure on IGN's part. You should never, ever use that word in any reference to metal music, unless you are referring to hardcore music.

I found the contest quite amusing myself. I was checking out the walkthru for the new Splinter Cell, and saw a link about some BS contest between Dethklok and Opeth. I've never even herd of Dethklok, who's name is amusing in and of itself. When I close my eyes I can picture Beavis wearing a Dethklok shirt.
