What is the general consensus on available Opeth tabs? Are they generally decent?
From what I can tell from programs like power tab and guitar pro, apps in which you can hear what the tab sounds like, they're pretty good.
However, having just seen opeth again, there are subtleties to many parts of the songs that many people seem to not pick up.
For example, in Montreal we got Face of Melinda so I payed close attention to the chords Peter was playing in the distorted riff. Comparing what he was doing to what the power tab was suggesting I noticed a huge difference. Unfortunately I'm not able to figure out exactly what Peter was doing.
Does anyone have suggestions for this riff by the way? The riff played before the vocal line "I took her by the hand to say..." comes in?
