Here it is, a band constantly increasing its musical quality with every release and winning the two most important hard rock/metal awards in its country (p3 guld is the other one) and attracting ever-increasing interest from mainstream. That's the way metal should be. Teaching mainstream how to play, not imitating it just to add some metal elements to it.

wow! I didn't expect so positive responses! Thank you guys! Because last time I said similar things in the now closed In Flames forum, the guys there insulted me by calling me a fucking moron. Looks like I found myself a new favourite band, which seems to have the most understanding fans around .

commandante, this is quite possibly the most intelligent board on UM. no teenagers starting huge flame wars every other thread because somebody doesnt agree. no immature name calling. its great. i dont post on here a lot, just usually lurk, but this is probably my favorite board. the testament board is very good about that stuff too. lots of intelligent posts even in some of the more assenine arguments.

IMO the most mature board is the Dark Tranquillity board, even though I don't go there too often. In fact, they are so civil there that it gets a little dull after a while...

theres a few cool people on the Cob board but it is pretty lame though considering that only the key boardist goes on. Kalmahs boards need FIXING!!!!

i guess it could be the type of music that they play that attracts assholes...i dunno, cause i mean people that listen to Opeth seem more mellow and not a little teen fuckwit who all they care about it is winning arguments online and saying that Slipknot is the hardest thing out there. i mean i like Cob and Opeth but i dont go and flame people because i think im cool....fuck that!
