Interview with the Vampire...or you could get the consolation prize Queen of the Damned, even though everyone says QOTD butchered the story from the book.
I's had friends who were in a couple of scenes of
Queen Of The Damned (since it was filmed in Melbourne, Australia). But that filmed surely did suck like a thousand dollar whore.
The Blade films suck too. As does Dracula 2000.
Bram Stroker's Dracula was pretty good, but nothing compared with the book.
The best vampire films have to be the ones made by Hammer Horror back in the 50's and 60's. They fucking rocked so, so much

.
But the best modern vampire film surely has to be
Shadow Of The Vampire because it asks: "who's really the monster? A creature who has to prey on the living in order to survive or a man who would destroy everyone and everything around him in order to make the greatest work of art in the world?" Pure fucking brillance.
I's hasn't seen Lord Of Illusion yet. I's tends to avoid Clive Barker films, but after reading one of his books lately (
Abarat, coolo fucking book

), I's been tempted to go and check a few out.
Peace
