Opinions on this track

Just looking for opinions on this track. I've been trying to get used to the ATH M50s but when I take them off my monitors always tell a different story. Maybe they just aren't broken in yet. They probably have about 4-5 hours of straight use.

Realized the bass was pretty outrageous.

I think the guitars are still lacking. Any suggestions.

Drums sound very bland and robotic. Mix overall is a bit cloudy.

Yeah the drums have no velocity changes yet because I'm still trying to work out the guitars. I'll try and brighten the mix a little. Thanks

Still a bit too much fizz on the guitars but I think it helped.

Noticeably better! Guitars are definitely a bit fizzy, and could be a little warmer in the 800hz area in my opinion. They currently sound a little low-mid and high-end heavy which partly leads to that impulse-driven sound.

Thanks man. I'll try lo passing a little more to take the fizz. Also I may reamp them too but I want to see how good I can get this first. Any other opinions about the latest mix?

So I worked on some EQing, added a bunch of Satson , and used recab 3.5 for a more realistic guitar tone.

The mix overall is sounding much better than the first draft! Nice, wide stereo image, full-bodied sound... I'm not a huge fan of the kick drum and the cymbals but it's just sample choice and my personal taste. Great work! I think I might have to pickup Recabinet...

Yeah man recab and Satson really helped with my fizz problems a lot. Especially recab. I highly suggest it against kefir.

Does anyone think there is a lack in bass? I was listening in my truck and it seemed there was a slight lack in bass on the latest.

i think it sounds very good, deep but clear at the same time.
i really like the drums, i suggest it's slate!?

Thanks man! The kick and snare are slate, yeah. I also used a sample from Charles J Death Kicks.
