Im kinda workin on a budget and lookin to get a 4x12 , what you guys make of this?

Are there any alternatives?

Not for that price. The cab itself with 16 mm plywood, might be a disaster, but if you get another used 4x12 (whatever brand) you can always swap the speakers. That HB is cheaper than four Vintage 30 speakers sold separately.

be sure to get the vintage version of the marshall then! I kinda hate the g12 75watters that they have inside.... squeechy and thin imo. v30's are much fatter

Dude buy the Harley Benton 4x12 with v30s, it sounds great. Better than my Marshall with v30s.
It just will not last maybe 20 years like the Marshall

theres some IR's of the HB 412 w/V30s on this forum, i find them a tad too bassy and grittiy, however wen i get paid im getting the 2x12 with V30s, im gnna get an IR of the cab then take the V30s out and put em in me 1960A and put the 2 spare G1275T speakers into the HB cab, its so ive got something for uni to practice with.

But as far as the price goes, just get it on the merit of the V30 speakers!! and as said previous slam em into a nicer sounding cab later on, youll save a good few pennies
