Hey guys, I just got a new 20-inch iMac, its fucking awesome, I love it so far...I hate using Digidesign's shitty CoreAudio program to listen to iTunes through my monitors, and I used to use a regular iPod cable (on that has a headphone plug on one end and two RCA plugs on the other) to connect my computer to my 003, but I realized thats using the shitty-ass A/D/A converters on my Mac instead of the ones on the 003...

well the new iMacs have a weird headphone output that doubles as an optical output (like one of those cables that shoots a red light out of the end, it looks kind of like a 1/8" plug....and the Digi 003 has SPDIF inputs, so I'm wondering if there is a way to plug the optical output of the iMac into my 003

Only problem is that SPDIF plugs are normally like RCA plugs (at least thats what they are on the back of my 003)....so is there some type of cable and/or solution for going from optical cable to the traditional RCA cable you use for SPDIF connections?
