5 years after "Crisis", SYMBYOSIS makes its great return and the originality is still here. Present from the writing to the production (KORUM, MISANTHROPE), Franck Kobolt (guitar) and Corrosive Bob (voice) deliver to us a double album of a great maturity and interpreted by remarkable musicians such as Tariq Zulficar on drums, Antoine Rognon on bass guitar, Nikos Kevorkian (Outcast) on lead guitar and some guests. Marrying with accuracy death and progressive, SYMBYOSIS proposes 2 hours of music of a rare intensity and multiplies the references to the legends of Metal, from DEATH to MORBID ANGEL, while passing by PESTILENCE, DEVIN TOWNSEND or NAPALM DEATH. This new album "One the wings of Phoenix " is a major work to have absolutely, brilliant!!

Mark Barney Greenway (from Napalm Death) for Kerrang ! (About "Crisis", previous album in 2001)

Not to be at all xenophobic, but the simple truth is that it's rare to be able to employ the words 'essential', 'French' and 'metal' within the same sentence. However, the Gallic grimace is getting ever more convincing, and if you like your chops a bit more tuneful and twiddly, 'Crisis' is unquestionably a masterpiece. Frankly, the instrumental talent herein is sufficient to make your prostrate release its payload repeatedly. Inheriting more than just said musical adeptness from deceased grinders Carcass, Symbyosis also add rippling keyboards that aren't just there to provide the occasional innocuous stab, making the overall shebang sound like Dream Theater gone postal. Vive la difference.
