Order of Mixing

Hi Andy Sneap, love your work. I am wondering: after you record all the tracks and are at the mixing stage, what order do you treat the instruments? Do you start with drums and bass? Or do you have everything playing and solo the tracks you want to EQ and such?
Also, how much (roughly) would you charge to mix and master a song? Thanks.

I'll start with the drums, gtr, bass then vox.
Budgets depend on the label, time it will take etc.
