Origin recording new album for Nuclear Blast!

Ok, for a fanboy like me this is fanny-fucking-tastic
I can't really imagine that this isn't going to be on my top 3 next year,
given that they have been improving for the last 3 albums (IMO)

But has anyone else noticed that for the last ten years relapse has been signing really good bands, releasing a couple of great albums, only to have them be snapped up by NB/"otherbiglabel"

I know that's kind of how thing's work, but I would have thought Relapse was successful enough to keep hold of them? No?

I had heard rumors of this before, but now it;s official, they recorded the album with Jason from Skinless on vocals, he is a great vocalist.
A different style to Lee no doubt, but still good. Fucking pumped for this album!

Robert Rebek, the engineer for Origin, is an old school friend of mine. He also does Tech n9ne....

My band opened for Origin when they came thru town last year. Nice guys!

heheheh, I was referring to the solo not that riff.

I know what you're getting at, all but one of Paul's songs had sweeping riffs
I have a feeling there are going to be more songs in the vein of Wrath of Vishnu
Hopefully there is going to be more of the old rhythmic ADD death metal, a la III and ...And Time Begins though
