I think this is one of the greatest progmetal records recently, it feels really fresh, with influences from all of their interresting members. The mix between DT-style heavy progmetal and the more mood-based kind, plus the extraordinary "sound effects" and other mysterious instruments make it a very pleasant listening. Kevin Moore is a very nice singer also. 4/5 from me definitly

Overall, I was quite disappointed in it. That was an amazing line up playing very sub-par music. Some of these musicians (*cough*Mike Portnoy*cough*) need to stop spreading themselves so thin. This is why the last Dream theater CD was such a trainwreck.

It's the same for me. It's something I have to be in the right mood for, so it'll only get an occasional listen, but it's really good.

I really like the music on this album, but I've never been a fan of Kevin Moore's vocals. I would like this album a lot more with a different singer, or if it was an instrumental album.

I like it alot. It's something more interesting than you're regular fretboard wanking Portnoy side project. But I'm disappointed that Portnoy isn't showing much of his talent on the record though. I love the moody sound effects alot.
