OT: Metallica's St. Anger artwork and new logo unveiled

Looks like something from a KMFDM cover.

That's the first thing that crossed my mind too. It's hard to believe that the end result is something that pushead came up with. The logo?
I just don't like it. I don't understand why bands change their logo with every release? Can you imagine if AC/DC did something like this? Maiden? Anthrax? Motorhead? Hopefully what's in the actual package will better than the cover & the new logo. I would really love to hear something that sounds like oldschool Metallica.

Sorry, but the artwork is beyond lame! And I always have defended Metallica here. I just hope the music is better. WAY better I should say.

The logo looks all right. The new album cover sucks. I'm actually looking more forward to the new Metallica than the new CF...maybe because I haven't heard a song from the new Metallica yet.

The cover reminds me of Sepultura's Nation.

Anyways, I too have been dissed by Metallica's last couple but reakon they can return with a biggie still.

Give them a chance I say, then criticise if you have to.

Yeah thats not a fake coz the light direction on everyones face matches up. I think the guy thought it was a fake though coz of the difference in skintones between Rickys face/upper-neck and lower-neck/torso. If you look closely though its because hes wearing makeup, the little fanny.

hmmmmmmmm, the album cover's not bad. I kinda like it other than the fact that it is similar to the Sepultura cover. But hey, at least it's something different, but hopefully the music is different, and better than the load albums. I guess we'll see.
