I don't see how anyone could give it 9/10, that's just nuts. The heavier songs are good, but not on a par with the old stuff. If the whole album had been straight up death metal in that vein, of the same quality as a track like "Nevermore" or "Blades for Baal" it could have been about a 7/10 album.
But you've got a large amount of complete and utter bullshit on there as well which HAS to drop a few points.
So, although I really enjoy some of it, even I wouldn't give it more than about 5/10. It's just not worth it.
