I've never seen Ripper live in person, but I saw a video of him with Judas Priest and he seemed to have alot of charisma. Vocally, it will be tough because everyone here loves Matt without question, but he can hit the notes and I think he will be a captivating presence live...

I think Owens sounds great. Definitly not as good as Matt, but theres no point in bitching about it. Just take what you're given and deal with it.

Fuck man, there hasn't even been a tour yet. Give the man a chance, for all we know, Tim might even be (possibly) better than Matt. Of course there is always going to be the die hard fans that will always say, this sucks, the old stuff was way better, but you can't do anything about that. Bands change, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, but you'll never know unless you give it an honest chance before you spout off and start making judgements.
