Our Trade Lists

I think I'll just duck out of this 3-way trading business and hope Opeth17 comes up with something that suits my taste. My re-listen to Holymarsh determined: nice lead-work, kinda boring otherwise, shitty lyrics, so OUT she goes!

Oh yeah and I have some rare shit up for grabs too, the Negura 3CD box and Cradle of Filth - Cruelty and the Beast (gravestone edition), and maybe some other shit that I never look at, listen to, or acknowledge existence of. :D

Memory Garden - Verdict of Posterity (jewel case CD - Swedish trad-doom)

Yes please. Keep that aside for me, my good man.

I'm making a new trade list. (By the way, to answer your question from 6 hours ago in a different thread, "no"). *

@Doomcifer - yes I want the Trouble, but I respect the fact that it's rare, and I don't know what to offer you. How about you look at my new upcoming trade list and pick a couple of goodies?

* Drudkh hasn't shown up yet.

Too bad I just bought that Negura box, or I'd probably have traded a bunch of shit you'd never listen to for it :p Would anyone listen to MOST of the things on my tradelist, anyway?

You wimp. Trades are the best way to get rid of something you don't want and possible gain something you will like. In other words, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Risk, man. It's fun.

I might as well list mine:

Watchmaker - Kill.Crush.Destroy.
Slo Burn - Amusing the Amazing
Coalesce - Functioning on Impatience
Coalesce - Give Them Rope (original; need good trade)
Coalesce - 0:12 Revolution in Just Listening
Coalesce - 002 + A Safe Place
Coalesce - There is Nothing New Under the Sun
V/A - Masters of Misery: Black Sabbath The Earache Tribute
V/A - Nativity in Black: Tribute to Black Sabbath
Poison the Well - Tear From the Red
Emperor - Prometheus
Scald - Nematoid: Specimen Parts I-IV
Goatsnake - Trampled Under Hoof
Forlorn - Opus III: Ad Caelestis Res
Biohazard - State of the World Address
Vision of Disorder - s/t
Vision of Disorder - Imprint
Earthcorpse - Born Bleeding
Mastodon - Remission

Quick Update:

Adrian - you know I'm serious when I call you by your real name - put that MANES album back on your shelf. They are a cult band, emerged in the early 90's making some of these demos alongside all the other Norwegian fuckers, finally got to release them on this in the late 90's, and then came back a few years later with Vilosophe. It is TRULY worth it to spend some time on the album.

Here's what anus.com(!) had to say about it -- an excerpt: "Progressive rock influences in the psychedelic vault of atmosphere manipulated by Pink Floyd or King Crimson layer complexity within change to fill depth within experience".

Throw all that into the Black Metal mix and that's what you get.

@Demilich - GET THAT PUPPET MASTER FROM NAD NOW. It is a phenomenal album that with all seriousness you would probably appreciate much more than One Inch Woman. Read this NOW - this man knows what he's talking about: http://www.royalcarnage.com/Reviews/jaykeeley/king diamond/puppet_rev.htm

That first Arcturus, I could live without it personally speaking, but I'll keep my copy just for what it is. I think Arcturus are a little overrated to be honest, but hey.

Now that I'd be willing to take a risk on!

Please keep in mind it is an EP and pro-printed CD-r, as it is a demo. It is an original, though, and quite rare, with all inserts.

 Yes I know. Right, I'll give it some more spins.

That King Diamond album IS good, I just know I'll never listen to it (because I don't, and I've had it for some time now). Demilich, I'll trade you for The Swan Road vinyl. :)

Based on various similarities in our taste, I'm gonna have to say that I'm inclined to give this album a chance even more now! Whether it could possibly be better than Mercyful Fate's "Melissa" is something that only time will tell!

NAD, would that be a 1:1 kinda trade or no? I don't know how people usually do this shit! I wonder if Opeth17 would be interested in the Neurosis --> Holymarsh --> [maybe King Diamond?] idea?

Still gotta see if Chris Bruni wants that vinyl, and I probably wouldn't trade it for the King Diamond cd either as I wanted to actually make back my money on those Drudkh vinyls. I need $$ badly these days.

King Diamond I need 2 albums for, or something more expensive than an everyday $10 CD. Let me know if you change your mind on Drudkh, or whatever. KD has been on my list for awhile so it's probably not going anywhere. :)

KD wouldn't be high on my priority list right now anyway, so it'll probably wait a while! Thanks anyway, you never know what may happen!
