I know, the title is retarded. I haven't had time to write or work on anything in forever but recently my GF has been gone so I got to it. Still prepro, and the vocals are all pretty much ad libbed (or at least the first minute where there are vocals). Let me know what you think! Guitars are 5150 (post at like .5 haha, no TS) -> Mesa Slate -> SM57 -> Isa One Pre with a random mic position. Just a HP and LP

Just do it like he did. Find a spot on the record where the kick is alone, cut it, and blend it with a multi-sample. Done

bam. When you try replicating the kick, realize there is so much info in the low end you have to try and get close to

Yeah, it´s not really that easy. To me it sounds like the kick might even be gated, cause i can´t really hear any room on that thing when it stands alone.
