Oxbow . . . sorrowful, slightly disturbing, beatuful, and deranged.

Oxbow 'The Narcotic Story' is kind of like those mellow/freaky moments on Faith No More 'Angel Dust'. Only this is an entire album. I'm pretty sure this album was done under the influence of some drugs, but it is quite excellent nonetheless.

P.S. Scroll down and look at the comments from "Roy, just Roy" on the Myspace page. Just do it.

Eugene is what you can call an original singer, and performer their live live shows..hmm special...search a little and you'll understand :zombie:

The hype is finally coming but IMO it's the kind of band you only need one album of..for instance "An Evil Heat", which is excellent. "The narcotic story" is their more mature effort but their most standard if you've been a fan from the beginning. Good starting point though cause Serenade in Red and An Evil Heat are more than slightly disturbing :)

Read this interview :

bump because oxbow rules

Maelstrom: You’ve got a sunwheel tattoo. What’s the significance of that?

Eugene Robinson: You’re being very gracious. I would call it a swatzstika.
