Alice...around longer, better vocals, more consistent over time and through many albums, doesn't take himself too seriously, probably should have retired by now but certainly put out better stuff since the time Ozzy was supposedly was going to retire, didn't marry a psycho bitch and then almost but not quite kill her, didn't make a mockery of himself and heavy metal in general by making a ridiculous reality series, didn't spawn disgusting egotistical brats and overexpose them to the world.

The way I see it, that's Alice 8 Ozzy 0...no contest

I must admit....dont have any Alice Cooper stuff, but loads of Old Sabbath....Still....have to go with Alice for the above reasons... Oh yeah another reason Ozzy loses is cus he wasnt good enough to finish the job when he went to kill $haron.....what a fuckin idiot

I'm with you. I see it like this. Alice is the originator of Metal. Although Alice and Ozzy both came out in the late ‘60s, Alice took rock down a MUCH darker path while Ozzy’s music stayed pretty pop-ish. Also, Ozzy didn’t get into the more theatrical music until much later, after Alice had already laid the foundation.
