i liked new frontier most cos it's pure old school heavy metal. paschendale and face in the sand are good too.

i finished downloading the new muse too. oh, the joy!

it's not worse than brave new world i reckon. but certainly not proper MAIDEN. anyways, you can't expect a band to give ace albums for 20 something years, right? sabbath did 6 massive albums but that's it. ac/dc the same, motorhead the same, metallica the same, almost everyone the same...
 
yeah. i have every metallica album. load has 5-6 good songs (out of 14, so you can't really speak about a classic) and st. anger has a bad production, bad vocals (hetfield can do much better) and again 4-5 good songs. but that's only what my opinion. :Spin:

my point is that steve havent written a single good song. the 3rd one is from his hand and its like 'fear of the dark' or 'the clansman' revisited. but in a BAAD BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD way
the other songs ew. now they completely lost it. theres not a single song that makes me hot. there was one that was okay. but forgot its title already. think it was montsegur. yeah must be
 
you cant say st anger has a bad production. its meant like that. okay i dont like it as well. but thats what they wanted

new frontier is pretty good. old school. maiden hadn't sounded like that since early bruce days. yeah, it's not anyhting new or special but still it's good.

and what i meant about metallica is that st. anger or load are decent but can't be called classics. no way near ride or master or justice.
