The mind-boggling piece of news is the one regarding their new record, "Be". It's scheduled for release in the Spring of 2004 and it will feature 9 orchestra musicians. I won't try to explain the concept because I didn't delve too deep into it, but you can check it out for yourself at http://www.painofsalvation.com/be. From August 30th to September 15th they'll be performing the record, in it's entirety, in their hometown of Eskiltuna. The performance will feature the orchestra musicians, video projections and Fredrik Hermansson will play a grand piano and a real harpsichord. According to the newsletter, this might very well be the only opportunity to see this album performed with full production.
