I haven't posted here in years but I thought I'd say that I found Pain - Rebirth in a record store the other day so I picked it up. I was incredibly impressed. It's a lot more like Hypocrisy's sound than I anticipated, and plenty heavy which I like. Parts of the album I swear could pass for Hypocrisy/Into the Abyss songs if Peter did them with extreme vocals.
The only downside of the album is that he layers the vocals too much, especially at octaves, which is rather annoying. Otherwise, very enjoyable music, dark, danceable, heavy, worth anyone's money.
How's the rest of the discography? I won't bother if later stuff isn't as heavy or dark, or gets too "accessible."
